Streamline Recruitment are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy logistics operation based in Tilbury. This is a permanent role with an immediate start available.
You’ll be planning nationwide groupage and multidrop routes, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring compliance with driver hours and fleet management requirements. It’s a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, so you’ll need to be confident making decisions and finding solutions on the go.
The role will include: Creating efficient transport plans to meet delivery schedules.
Monitoring and adjusting plans to deal with changes or challenges.
Working closely with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.
Using planning software to optimise routes and vehicle use.
What we’re looking for: Previous experience in Groupage work is essential.
Knowledge of fleet management and driver hours regulations.
Flexible to work shifts between 08:00–18:00 or 10:00–20:00 (Mon–Fri).
What’s in it for you: Salary £35,000–£39,000 DOE + discretionary bonus.
