We’re supporting a large, complex organisation that is entering a critical phase of its Workday optimisation and enhancement programme. They are looking for a hands-on Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager with strong Workday experience to take ownership of delivery through to the end of 2026.
This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, operating in ambiguity, and driving outcomes across multiple Workday workstreams.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading a multi-stream Workday programme focused on optimisation, adoption, and value realisation, working closely with HR, IT, and senior business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
End-to-end programme and project management of Workday initiatives
Owning and maintaining the integrated programme plan , milestones, risks, and dependencies
Managing governance forums, steering committees, and senior stakeholder reporting
Driving delivery across Workday modules (e.g. HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Compensation)
Ensuring transition from project delivery into BAU operating models
Keeping a strong focus on benefits realisation, adoption, and ROI
Coordinating internal teams and external partners to maintain pace and quality
✅ What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager on Workday programmes
Strong, hands‑on delivery background (not purely PMO or oversight)
Experience working in large, multi‑entity or global environments
Comfortable managing evolving requirements and complex stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, including senior leadership and board-level updates
Ability to operate autonomously and drive momentum
Duration: Contract through to December 2026
Location: Predominantly remote with occasional travel
