Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a very well established special purpose machine manufacturer. Applicants for the Technical Sales Engineer position must be competent with AutoCAD and have a technical background in special purpose, bespoke machinery and/or precision engineering. As the role is home based, you can live anywhere in the UK with expected visits to the office every 1-2 weeks in West Yorkshire.

Key skills and experience required for the Technical Sales Engineer position include –

* Experienced in selling an overall solution, i.e. not just selling components or pre-designed/existing machines. This person needs to be able to understand technically what the client is looking for to the point of being able to scope/sketch an idea of a bespoke machine and be able to communicate this to the engineering/design team

* Confident in mechanical engineering

* Being AutoCAD competent and have a complex technical knowledge with the ability to present data and ideas is key

* Someone who has come up through the technical ranks as a mechanical design engineer will be well suited.

The client offers a bonus based on profit margin on sales on top of a salary & company car.
