This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team in Amazon Logistics to contribute to the growth of a newly launched business. We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Solution Architect for the Amazon Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be excited by partnering in building scalable mechanisms to contribute to the overall growth of the business and possess a unique balance of technical depth, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. To be able to serve our customers, Amazon Logistics will require an ecosystem of integrations with a variety of e-commerce seller solutions; including order and shipping-related software. We are looking for a Solution Architect that will support our largest accounts and 3P partners by: providing consultation during the initiation and development of the technical integration, liaise with external partners and internal teams, and troubleshoot where necessary during roll-out. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value and help customers solve problems is critical to a Solution Architect. You will represent Amazon in face-to-face meetings and own the overall technical relationship between Amazon Logistics and the customer. Roles and Responsibilities: · Establish technical credibility in the sales cycle and collaborate with Sales to drive adoption of our integration-focused products and features. · Develop deep and broad relationships with executives and technical stakeholders at partner organizations · Lead tech and integration discussions with large customers, support the onboarding process, and troubleshoot where needed. Provide technical support and architectural guidance directly to developers. · Write code samples, tutorials, whitepapers and technical articles for the developer community, capturing and sharing the best practices. · Identify bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and drive teams to implement solutions. Coordinate work with several internal and external teams. · Analyze current processes and our customers’ pain-points and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate program growth. Provide feedback to product management and development teams · Act as a technical liaison between customer, support & engineering, and business team · Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives · Share learnings and adopt best practices across geographies · Analyze current processes and our customers’ pain-points and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate program growth · Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and communicate risks to leadership team · Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are stable, scalable and efficient. Basic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Deep technical and software expertise · Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment · Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to role-up your sleeves. · Working experience with one or more popular programming languages such as java, C#, etc. · Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership · Proven ability to develop strong and collaborative working relationships with customers oand influence others to achieve outstanding results · Experience with troubleshooting complex integration failures, working with integration partners, and testing interconnected systems. · Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals · Track record of success in roles of increasing responsibility Preferred Qualifications · Technical Sales or Solution Architect background Experience with popular e-commerce and logistics applications · Experience leading complex digital applications through multiple lifecycles and 3 years of program management experience for a technical product · Passion for and experience in designing and building API based products and solutions. · Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating relevant results with senior leadership. · Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards. · Proficiency writing technical, educational developer content (technical articles, whitepapers, tutorials, sample code) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
