TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Senior Practice Accountant to join a fantastic, chartered accountancy practice in Sandwich, Kent. This firm is currently experiencing growth and can offer excellent future progression prospects. It will be a hands‑on, client‑facing position, where you can maintain a good work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.
Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates.
Bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and when required.
Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail.
Monitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible.
Support trainees by providing on‑the‑job coaching.
Assist clients with accounts software and other queries as required.
Requirements
Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and/or Sage, Xero or Quick Books.
Have excellent communication, listening and problem‑solving skills.
Highly organised and self‑motivated.
Both part time, and full time applicants will be considered.
Benefits
£38,000 – £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
