Context:•Vodafone is transforming into a Next Generation Telco, an essential stepping-stone to our ultimate ambition to become a Technology Communications Company offering a range of products and services beyond connectivity.•The Retail and Web team delivers a set of programmes to support the transformation of the the channels.   Retail 10,  One Platform Web,  One CMS and Digital Signage  are Vodafone’s  transformation programmes to create a truly world class Digital Sales & Service experience. It will deliver fully joined up customer journeys as part of Vodafone’s Digital IT strategy, transforming the experience across Vodafone’s web presence and 7000 stores globally.•We use SAFe as our delivery methodology,  enabling us to build agile release trains, integrating central and local market resources using the principles of standardisation and re-use to drive efficient and responsive delivery. Role Purpose:•Create, establish and run an Agile Release Train for new or existing products.•Create, and manage, committed programme plans as well as delivery teams’ detailed plans from PI planning•Manage the delivery from both internal & offshore delivery teams as a servant leader•Drive a strong collaborative approach with other functions within Vodafone and key ART roles to drive effective plans•Managing and tracking all programme level risks, issues and dependencies•Coaching of leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets•Drive continuous improvement across the ART; assess the agility level of the ART and facilitate improvement  (E.g. help drive improvements in our DevOps approach and CI-CD toolchains).•Planning, preparing for and facilitating all relevant ART ceremonies  (e.g. PI Planning)•Be the ultimate delivery owner and point of reference for status reporting for key Retail and Web productsApply if you have:•Proven track record of project / delivery / operation management within Agile framework•Experience of leading teams within Scaled Agile Framework•High adaptability to change•Leader with the ability to develop and communicate the objectives, inspire, coach and motivate the team•Strong communications, presentation and stakeholder management skills•Successful experience of managing geographically and culturally diverse teamsMust have technical / professional qualifications:•Experience of running an Agile Release Train•Strong knowledge of Agile delivery principles•Experience Scaled Agile Framework•Leadership and team management skills•DevOps experience / awareness•Excellent project management skills•Experience in complex organizations with distributed responsibilities or with an international environment Key accountabilities and decision ownership:•Delivery ownership and plan•Business and IT Stakeholder management enabling the smooth running of the ART.•Define Release strategy•Run ART ceremonies (E.g. PI Planning)•Resource and budget management for the ART.Key performance indicators:•Management of team to deliver well organised Prerpation of Product deliverables for PI Planning•Clear, communicated approach to Release Train and ART ceremonies (including PI Planning)•Collaboration with other ARTs within the direct team and outside to promote best practice.   Tangible impact on ART velocity.•Contribute as a positive, inclusive and empowering and senior team memberPreferred core competencies, knowledge and experience:•Delivery Management using Agile  (SAFe highly preferred)•Experience in Digital IT Solution delivery•Leadership and project management skills.•Transformation programme experience.  Preferred technical / professional qualifications:•Degree in Computing or Technology•SAFe Practitioner•Relevant Project/Agile Management qualifications
