As an experienced Occupational Therapist there are a lot of job opportunities open to you, most of them working within the NHS and subject to the NHS rate caps. One of the benefits of working for a local authority is having more flexibility and being able to earn more, and this vacancy that we're recruiting for is no different.

The Inner London Borough we're working with is looking for an Occupational Therapist (Band 6 equivalent) to help with a double handed care project. The patients have come out of hospital and will be requiring double handed care, with the goal to reduce that down to single handed care.

You'll be travelling to patients homes and offering domiciliary care, the Borough has fantastic transport links so a car won't be required. There will be the opportunity for hybrid working, when you're not treating patients you will be able to do some work from home. The client is paying up to £35 per hour (umbrella company rates), and is offering full time (37.5 hours) work.

If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch by applying with a copy of your CV

    Category info:

Occupational therapists work with adults and children with many different needs, from patients who need support adapting to life after major surgery to elderly people who need adaptations such as stairlifts in order to be able to stay in their own homes. They provide practical advice and solutions to enable people to live full, satisfying and independent lives. Specific duties vary depending on the field of work and whether occupational therapists (sometimes referred to as OTs) are based within hospital or community settings.
