We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history ABOUT THE ROLE  We’re looking for a sharp-eyed designer to join us in the Wellness Art Department, working primarily on the new membership offerings from market-leading brands Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Runner’s World. This will involve designing graphics, infographics, moving images, logos and assorted digital assets for the membership newsletters, web pages and social accounts. Membership is a multi-platform affair, so on occasion the job will involve print work, too. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a keen sense of brand aesthetic, love of typography, photography, digital design and information graphics. An interest in finding and commissioning new illustration talent is a bonus. A love for our brands is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITES To oversee the creative output across Men’s Health’s, Women’s Health’s and Runner’s World’s membership offerings To design and produce engaging visual content for the membership channels, primarily in relation pay walled content,  newsletters and private social accounts Co-ordinate with the BAU Social Media Manager on social animation ideas, themes and packages Design and create compelling digital assets from print content repurposed for the memberships channels in order to elevate their standout Assist with developing each membership brand’s visual identity, from franchise logos to design furniture Assist with the production of brand marketing assets such as animations and graphics for social campaigns and digital points of sale Be an active member of the wider Wellness design hub and assist with the production of print pages and assets as the workflow dictates ABOUT YOU You will need… A proven track record in digital design for either magazines or media brands, or similar editorial studio work Experience in motion graphics and editing. Proficiency with the entire Adobe creative suite, including After Effects. Knowledge of Figma, Sketch, or similar UX tools is a plus To demonstrate an ability to execute striking, dynamic design solutions to complex concepts and tackle stories/assignments creatively in the spirit of the relevant brand Time management skills and the ability to work on multiple deadlines To be able to work in a collaborative environment A love of magazine brands. Print magazine experience is a bonus  WHAT WE OFFER  At Hearst UK, you can choose from a huge range of perks and benefits      that can help you learn well, work well and live well including: 25 days’ holiday (with the option to buy up to 5 additional holiday days) Flexible working – we’re happy to discuss options!
