ABOUT THE ROLE You will join the growing Central Ecommerce Content team to assist on the beauty shopping vertical across Hearst UK’s trusted brands, focusing on Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Red, Prima and Women’s Health. Working under the Senior Beauty Ecommerce editor, you’ll help the team increase beauty output – from honing in on the best sales and deals, to covering buzzy launches and reviewing best-in-class products – to drive cross-platform affiliate revenue and help our readers make smart buying decisions. You’ll become an authority in the beauty industry and a trusted voice that our readers turn to for advice and recommendations. About you A versatile writer with some experience of covering beauty for an online publication. Strong knowledge of consumer trends within the beauty world. Organised, meticulous on detail, and capable of turning round clean and engaging copy in a fast-paced environment. An appreciation of Hearst brands and their respective audiences. Some knowledge of SEO best practice. An understanding of affiliates in a publishing context. Social-media savvy, able to spot a trending product story on Instagram or Tiktok ahead of rivals. Willing to attend beauty events both in work time and out of hours.
