Are you a Social Media Manager OR Senior Social Media Manager looking for your next role working with an awesome agency in Birmingham? Our client is looking for someone who absolutely loves, lives and breathes social media to join their growing team. You will have strong experience in the key social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and ideally YouTube and TikTok, but still get in touch if you don’t have all of these. You will be working in a role where you are growing and evolving social media pages organically. You will know what content works best for each platform and will understand monestisation thresholds. You will be working in a role where you are managing social media for a range of clients, or multiple brands. You will also be managing or mentoring a small team and be interested in doing this in your next role. This role would suit a Social Media Manager, Senior Social Media Manager or Head of Social. You will be looking to join a growing and highly successful agency who really are one of their kind in the Midlands. This is a permanent full-time role, with flexibility and a competitive salary.
This role is based in Birmingham and commutable via Solihull, Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Warwick, Leamington, Coventry to name a few. The Role
As Social Media Manager OR Head of Social, you will be co-ordinating, leading and managing a small social team - as well as liaising with key internal and external stakeholders - to deliver your social media strategy with a focus on growing pages across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You will be responsible for building revenue streams from Facebook content posting strategies and be analysing and reporting on social media activity, making recommendations to the team.
About You
You will be a passionate Social Media Manager OR Head of Social, looking for a role in a creative environment. You will have experience in building brands by building engagement through clever content strategies. You will enjoy being strategic, coming up with ideas for different social media platforms with a focus on growing pages and monetisation and being analytical. You will have a knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok understanding what content performs best on the different channels and will be managing a team to deliver the strategy.
* You will be able to work at a strategic level, feeding insights back into senior team meetings
* An eye for creative and able to edit imagery and videos for use across social media
* You will have experience in growing engagement and all-important watch times, heading up a team to deliver on this
* Strong experience in growing pages through organic methods (big focus on growing pages and not just management of channels)
* Enjoy working as a small team, as part of a wider creative team
* Proven experience in using editing software to edit video content including Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop
* Analytical experience, reporting back on social media activity looking at engagement and making recommendations
* Experience with YouTube Studio and Facebook Creator Studio
