My client, a well-established and award-winning supply chain business, is looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their busy distribution operation based in Leicester.
This is a consistent role offering structured routes, modern equipment, and a professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Class 1 trunking and store delivery work
• Delivering mixed, palletised goods
• Completing an average of 2–3 store drops per shift
• Use of electric pump trucks (provided)
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
• Ensuring full compliance with the Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle legislation
What My Client Is Looking For
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• A minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience (essential)
• A professional, safety-focused approach to driving
Pay & Benefits
£16.87 per hour, plus overtime rates
