This Role Salary of £30-£35k DOE Uncapped commission 25 Days Holiday 8 Bank Holidays Optional Hybrid working As an individual you will need to have a high level of personal motivation, a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment and be an effective communicator. Additionally, you will: Work with the head of the department to agree sales and marketing strategies Work with marketing to provide ideas for campaigns and commitment to follow up Achieve a first-year revenue target of £175,000 Achieve self-set KPIs including; number of appointments set, number of outbound and effective calls made, number of proposals and presentations delivered Generate own leads by calling and booking appointments Build prospect pipeline managing revenue / new customer pipeline Account manage clients and upsell services through regular meetings Canvass new business from current client database Inspire and mentor junior sales academy consultants, in return leveraging them as a source of new business leads Other organisations may call this role IT Account Manager, IT Sales Executive or IT Business Development Officer WHO?     Information technology (IT) is the application of computers to store, study, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data, or information, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. IT is considered a subset of information and communications technology (ICT). In 2012, Zuppo proposed an ICT hierarchy where each hierarchy level "contain[s] some degree of commonality in that they are related to technologies that facilitate the transfer of information and various types of electronically mediated communications". The term is commonly used as a synonym for computers and computer networks, but it also encompasses other information distribution technologies such as television and telephones. Several industries are associated with information technology, including computer hardware, software, electronics, semiconductors, internet, telecom equipment, and e-commerce. Humans have been storing, retrieving, manipulating, and communicating information since the Sumerians in Mesopotamia developed writing in about 3000 BC, but the term information technology in its modern sense first appeared in a 1958 article published in the Harvard Business Review; authors Harold J. Leavitt and Thomas L. Whisler commented that "the new technology does not yet have a single established name. We shall call it information technology (IT)."     Reigate ( RY-gate) is a town of over 20,000 inhabitants in east Surrey, England, approximately 30 km (19 mi) south of central London. It is in the London commuter belt and one of three towns in the borough of Reigate and Banstead. It is sited at the foot of the North Downs and extends over part of the Greensand Ridge. Reigate has a medieval castle and has been a market town since the medieval period, when it also became a parliamentary borough. Colley Hill, one mile (1.6 km) north-west of Reigate, is 722 feet (220 m) high. Reigate Hill, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) due east of Colley Hill, is 771 feet (235 m) high, and they both have panoramas along the North Downs Way.
