We have an excellent opportunity for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a thriving tech company based in Abingdon.

The 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer will provide support at an excellent standard to the company’s diverse client base and will get the opportunity to work across a wide range of hardware and software, troubleshooting issues across all types of devices.

What’s Required?

Whilst enthusiasm and the ability to provide a highly personable service are key, it is hoped that the successful 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer’s technical experience and abilities will include:

Prior experience in a similar role within a Windows (7 > 10) environment, plus with Microsoft Office 365

Solid experience with desktop hardware, including upgrades and troubleshooting
Experience with application installation and troubleshooting

Basic networking skills, knowledge of wireless, Microsoft Exchange (2007 > 2013), Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory would be preferable

Any knowledge of VOIP, or experience with firewalls and/or Virtualisation would be an advantage
