Our client is a Top 100 independent accountancy, financial planning and insolvency practice with offices in Oxford and London W1 and now have a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing Oxford team. This is a full-time permanent position offering hybrid working, three days in the office and two days working at home, and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days).

Key Responsibilities for Accounts Assistant Manager 

As a senior member of the accounts team, you will take the lead on managing incoming accounts jobs to ensure that resources are deployed efficiently to meet our clients’ deadlines.
Build long lasting client relationships, providing expert knowledge and advice whilst also spotting opportunities to refer work to other divisions.
Oversee and review the preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations.
Support Partners by managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
Develop others by supporting, mentoring and managing more junior members of the team.
Begin to develop your network and assist with business development activities

About You:

ACCA / ACA qualified
Strong UK practice experience with 1-2 years post qualification
Previous supervisory experience
Previous line management experience is desirable
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
Team player
Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
Create a positive impression with clients and staff
