Our client is one of the most prolific fintech start-ups to emerge in recent years. Harnessing powerful and innovative technology, they have created a big impression in the payments arena, changing the way their client base manages their finances. As they continue their growth in the UK and overseas, they are now looking for a mid-senior corporate lawyer to join the team for 6 months, on a part-time basis. Ideally, the successful candidate will work from the Central London office one day a week, but we will consider applications from lawyers who wish to work remotely if they have solid experience with:● corporate structuring; ● institutional fundraising rounds;● board-related support including company law advice;● legal tech innovation and implementation. Working alongside the General Counsel and Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will work on key legal issues affecting the business from the outset, so you must have a track-record of working in-house, and be able to build relationships with senior management easily. Candidates must:Be UK-qualified, with a least 7 years’ PQE;Have worked in a regulated entity (ideally another Fintech or financial services organisation);Demonstrate previous examples of autonomous working, as well as picking up new workstreams quickly. Finance is a field that deals with the study of investments. It includes the dynamics of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of different degrees of uncertainty and risk. Finance can also be defined as the science of money management. Finance aims to price assets based on their risk level and their expected rate of return. Finance can be broken into three different sub-categories: public finance, corporate finance and personal finance.

Mansfield is a large market town in Nottinghamshire, England, the main town in the District of Mansfield and Mansfield Urban Area. It lies in the Maun Valley surrounded by hills, 12 miles (19 km) north of Nottingham in a largely urban district, most of whose 106,556 population live in the town (including Mansfield Woodhouse), with Market Warsop a secondary centre. It lies next to the urban area of Sutton-in-Ashfield. Mansfield is the only major sub-regional centre in the county, covering an area of 30 square miles (78 sq. km) and is the only local authority in Nottinghamshire directly to elect its mayor. The district has been influenced by a past of coal mining and textiles that lasted into the 1990s; since then Mansfield has 20.2 per cent (12,890) of its working-age population claiming out-of-work benefits.. The population has fallen over the last century, despite some industrial diversification.
