Job Purpose As part of a small global risk team for all AM Best Ratings Services entities, you will play a crucial role in supporting enterprise risk management to six Boards of Directors in accordance with relevant regulations and industry legislation through the provision of a professional risk management service. The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst will support all aspects of the Risk Management Framework for AM Best Rating Services across all global AM Best entities. This role will give the person the ability to be involved in a wide range of strategic and operational discussions throughout the organisation. Responsibilities Prepare professional and polished quarterly risk and incident dashboards for six global entity Boards and a group risk committee. Collate and analyse risk metrics and key risk indicators across all business units using Microsoft Excel. Review and analyse risk data (both qualitative and quantitative) to draw meaningful insights for Senior Management and the Boards. Prepare and present monthly risk incident dashboards to the risk team. Support the production of broader Board risk reports on a quarterly basis as well as ad-hoc reporting. Work proactively across different offices and time zones to deliver all risk management initiatives. Identify and investigate enterprise risk events, ensuring root cause analysis and control assessments. Perform deep-dives to review and enhance business processes and control frameworks alongside supporting thematic risk reviews as required. Assist with proactive identification and management of both current and emerging internal/external risks to AM Best’s objectives, ensuring appropriate escalation and monitoring in alignment with risk appetite. Foster a positive culture of partnership with internal/external stakeholders. Support in the development and implementation of all enterprise risk policies and the risk framework across AM Best Rating Services and its subsidiaries. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience in enterprise risk management within financial services. Experience in preparing management information and performance reporting preferably for an executive and board level audience. Able to work collaboratively under tight reporting timescales, producing high-quality outputs. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand key strategic messages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and confidently express observations and recommendations. Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to identify, suggest and implement areas of continuous improvement.
