Job Description: Job Title: Operations Tax and Control Analyst LOB: Global Markets Operations Corporate Title: up to Vice President Location: Bromley The Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Operations Tax and Control team manages the operational tax responsibilities arising from activity of our GBAM clients. The team manages tax documentation, withholding and reporting processes globally. This role will execute tax processes and controls, as well as running governance routines over tax processes and performing business analysis and project management activities arising from the team’s responsibilities.   Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Executing tax operations processes and controls. Understanding end-to-end GBAM tax processes and associated risks, controls and control metrics. Providing quality control and analytical support to GBAM tax operations functions. Analysis and resolution of complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and product specialists to resolve. Managing projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products. Effectively communicating with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed from them. Partnering closely with control and governance organizations. Core Skills: Experience in global banking or markets operations, within a tax operations function. Highly organized, motivated, team-player, intellectually curious and able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Good data collection, analysis, and reporting skills Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Demonstrated process design skills. Ability to negotiate and influence within and outside the organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
