Cleo are seeking a seasoned, world-class Chief Product Officer (CPO) to join its leadership team and help steer the company through the next phase of growth. 

Reporting to the Founder CEO, and ideally based in London, the CPO will have full ownership of the product vision, strategy, and accountability for delivering the product roadmap.

You will inherit a passionate and high-performing team of product professionals, and will lead and mentor this group to build a world-class product management organisation. You are an inspiring leader and role model, able to attract new, outstanding and diverse talent into the product org.

Role responsibilities: Lead the definition and delivery of a clear and cohesive product strategy to deliver Cleo’s overall mission objective and wider strategic imperatives, working closely in collaboration with the founder CEO, executive leadership team, and wider business. 
Build a world-class product management function. Attract and retain highly engaged and capable top talent. Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities to underpin best-in-class execution and delivery.
Lead and mentor the existing team of product managers, product leads, and product directors. Help them take risks. Get them to test hypotheses and break it all down into smaller steps. 
Set clear objectives and key results with leadership and the wider business at large. Regularly check in on progress, learn, adjust, then learn some more. 
Deliver great product for users at pace with relentless focus on delivery. Instil a sense of pace, ownership, and accountability across the product organisation.
Reduce dependencies, remove blockers, and align stakeholders, working closely with the leadership, in particular the CMO, VP Tech, VP of Design, and VP of Growth. 
Become a key contributor and valued member of Cleo’s executive leadership team.

Experience leading a portfolio of exciting, creative, and disruptive products characterised by first-class user experience, reliability, and scalability. People leadership: An inspiring, engaging people leader and outstanding communicator. Proven track record in building organizational structures that support high growth and efficiency, attracting and developing top talent, and motivating teams. Execution-focused product delivery and bias for action: Proven ability to build world-class products loved by users, delivering high-quality products on time and within budget. Creative and disruptive mindset: A highly creative thinker with a background in exciting, disruptive consumer brands. Analytical with a structured problem-solving approach. Metrics and ROI-driven. Communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills: Effective communicator with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, influence at executive and board levels, and instill confidence across the leadership team.
