Astute Recruitment are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a unique company in Derby. This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger assistant to join a company who are not only supportive but are energetic and keen driven. As a Purchase Ledger Assistant your responsibilities will include: Answering finance department incoming callsCoding up invoices to the relevant contractsProcessing purchase ledger paperwork, including delivery notes and invoicesMaintaining spreadsheets for the departmentMonthly statement reconciliationsHighlighting queries to suppliersUpdate statement reconciliation report prior to month end payment runProcess supplier month end payment run through SageProviding administrative support to the team You will be required to work full time in the office (37.5 hours), there is some flexibility with these hours. (9-5 or 8-4) As a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will receive 20 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking, and a salary of £21,000 - £24,000.

Derby is a centre for advanced transport manufacturing, being home to the world's second largest aero-engine manufacturer: Rolls-Royce. Bombardier Transportation are based at the Derby Litchurch Lane Works and were for many years the UK's only train manufacturers. Toyota Manufacturing UK's automobile headquarters is southwest of the city at Burnaston. To the east lies Nottingham, separated by the M1 motorway.
