Events Executive Private Dining at The Birley ClubsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Executive to join the Private Dining Team at The Birley Clubs based in Fitzrovia, London.The Birley Clubs operate some of the worlds most iconic private members clubs; Annabels, Marks Club, George, Harrys Bar and Bath & Racquets Club.As Events Executive you will effectively manage and sell the private dining space within Annabels & Marks Club and support our Events Managers. You will prepare all event documentation and coordinate with the onsite team and client to ensure consistent, high level service throughout all stages of the event as well as a seamless turnover to the onsite team. You will effectively handle all member/client and ensure conversion targets are achieved on an ongoing basis.We offer our employees:A highly competitive starting remuneration packageIncreased remuneration as you develop and progress in your roleExtensive career development and training opportunitiesStaff discountsDiscounted corporate rate at ClassPassLife assurance coverEmployee eventsAccess to our Cycle to Work schemeWagestream a financial wellbeing benefit that provides you access to your pay as you earnYour key responsibilities will include:Responding effectively to all member/client enquires as well as effective liaison with the teamsCoordination of events from enquiry to day of eventEnsuring effective enquiry management to achieve conversion targets set and achievement of revenue targetsPreparing of all relevant event documentation including contracts, function sheets, floor plans, table plans, place cards, menus etc.Preparing and ensuring contracts are put in place for each event and signed and returned by members/clients in line with SOPsEnsuring effective liaison with the member/client to create accurate and complete proposal document to ensure the onsite teams deliver the event as per the member/clients requestEffective diary management to enable timely follow up of enquiries and completion of member/client contracts in line with SOPs.Maintaining strong relationships with the onsite teams to maximise revenue and optimize occupancy of the private dining spaceRecognising opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create better overall eventsAssisting with admin tasks as required by the Private Dining TeamPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needsWe are ideally looking for candidates who have:Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality marketStrong communication skills both verbally and in writing, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all timesExcellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and multi-taskAre passionate about delivering high quality and unique eventsAbility to build and maintain strong relationshipsExcellent team players with strong administration skillsStrong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and related PC packagesExperience with Salesforce desirable
