Year 5 Class Teacher in Rugby

Your new company
Hays Education are currently working with a large three form entry primary school in the Rugby area to recruit for a full-time qualified year 5 teacher ideally, however, would consider any other key stage two year group on a fixed term 12-month contract. This school has been rated 'good' by Ofsted and is seeking a teacher who can provide the children with an excellent standard of education and school experience through providing engaging lessons in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Your new role
You will be working as a full-time year five teacher who is also happy to consider other key stage two year groups from September 2022 on a fixed term 12 month contract. As a year 5 teacher you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons through creating a vibrant and creative classroom environment. As well as this you will also be expected to complete marking and assessments of pupils according to school policy.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential you are a qualified teacher with experience teaching key stage two year groups. It is important you can take a child-led approach and have a good understanding of how pupils learn through being flexible and adaptable in your teaching style as well as having a vision of making a positive difference in the lives of children as well as the local community. To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and be confident in being able to deliver lessons and monitor the progression of pupils. Finally, you must have an excellent understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted policies.
