Tutor of English Lincoln- September- Pay: £25-£35 an hour

Are you an English teacher or an English graduate with experience in schools?

Teaching Personnel are the biggest partner of the National Tutoring Programme and have opportunities for high quality tutors to work in person or face to face in Lincoln. This offers the opportunity for you to see the results of your dedicated tutoring and make a difference to students near you.

Through TP tutors you will have access to our CPD library a plethora of schools in your area and a dedicated tuition manager to guide you through the process.

Role Responsibilities

Show expert knowledge of the GCSE and KS3 curriculum to keep pupils on task leading up to exams.
Prepare concise lessons to accommodate differing abilities
Show professional and compassion to help students succeed
Report sessions and update student data on our online platform LEAP
Liaise with schoolteachers to ensure students receive the best necessary teaching
Show a passion for education and pride yourself on boosting students’ grades
This role is funded by the National Tutoring Programme and provides multiple groups of students per school with 15-week blocks of high-quality tutoring.

 This role allows flexibility for tutors who can work in person or from home and run across the school year with varying groups of mixed abilities and ages across the secondary spectrum. Teaching Personnel facilitates the opportunity for tutors to build rapport with schools while seeing growth from students at key points in their education journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
