Job Description
As an Economics A Level Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning at Key Stage 5, inspiring students to develop a deep understanding of economic theory and its application to the real world. You will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons, assess student progress effectively, and contribute positively to the wider life of the Sixth Form and school community. You will work collaboratively within a committed department and uphold high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and inclusion.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated and reflective Economics A Level Teacher who:
Holds QTS or QTLS
Has experience teaching within a UK mainstream secondary school
Has a strong subject knowledge of Economics at A Level
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and the ability to motivate and challenge students
Is committed to inclusive teaching and supporting students of all abilities
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to departmental development
