We work in close partnership with schools to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence, providing skilled and professional Primary Cover Teachers who can confidently step into the classroom and maintain high standards across the curriculum.

The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Cover Teachers to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settings. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups

• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners

• Mark and provide feedback in line with school expectations

• Support pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing

• Follow school safeguarding, health and safety procedures

• Provide clear handover feedback to class teachers or senior leaders

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• Sound knowledge of the primary national curriculum

• Clear communication and strong organisational skills

• Professional, reliable and adaptable approach

• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
