Working on a sole basis within the Finance Department (with the option of 2 days flexible office based) this is a permanent role working with the Pricing & Channel Finance Manager whose main function will be to make recommendations on pricing activity to the business
You will be responsible for ensuring that all pricing is processed correctly and captured into business systems. In addition you will be identifying opportunities to develop new reports and analytics to deliver pricing insights and drive higher levels of business performance plus maintain & develop pricing tools & processes. This is a vital, unique and interesting role and a full outline of the responsibilities appears below:-
Pricing Management
Maintaining pricing data on ERP system
Special price reviews and processing
Provide detailed price/discount reporting
Customer price lists – development and maintenance
Provide backup for special pricing and rebate claim review and approvals
Pricing Tool Maintenance
Input to and testing of new ERP system
Channel Data Management
Channel Data Management (CDM) system EMEA Lead, sell out and inventory, data management and analytics including monthly board pack reporting.
Management of CDM partners, working with external supplier to onboard new partners and manage existing partners
Work with IT & service providers to ensure data is complete and accurate
Business Intelligence
Develop business intelligence tools to analyse and share pricing/sales data across the business
Drive accountability across the sales organisation and provide insights and strategic support
Identifying opportunities to develop new reports and analytics to deliver insights and drive higher levels of business performance
Ad-hoc reporting for strategic accounts & partners, enabling self-serve wherever possible
Applications for this new role will be particularly welcomed from candidates with advanced IT skills, BI Reporting / SQL / data management skills plus experience of maintaining large data sets (ideally pricing or sales related).
In addition you will have a commercial mind-set with the ability to analyse the output of models beyond the reporting of financial data, providing in-depth business insight. Our client is looking for a driver of transformational change and the successful applicant will need effective time management and organisational as well as interpersonal skills plus an ability to create and manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
If you are educated to degree level or similar who fit the criteria listed above as well as knowledge and experience of Microsoft Power BI report development/Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce then we would like to hear from you
Previous experience with distribution channels would be an advantage and you will need to have a strong teamwork ethic where you can successfully engage with others to build and maintain positive relationships. Additional European language would also be an advantage
