About the role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bus Cleaner to join our team. As a Bus Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our fleet, ensuring a pleasant experience for our passengers. The responsibilities of this role include assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises using specialised equipment and chemicals, as well as being able to work autonomously with initiative, and part of a team.
Key responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning of buses.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness.
Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including seats, windows, and handrails.
Empty waste bins as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with other cleaning duties as required.
Skills, Experience & Eligibility At least 6 months of cleaning experience
Experience of using hand tools and Cleaning equipment
You must have a right to work in the UK
Depot location: Wells
Working hours: 40 hrs per week
Hourly Pay Rate: £12.60
Shifts: 5 over 7, late shifts
