Cima Accountant, Sheffield

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a growing business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a CIMA Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for 2 Companies  Analyse P&L variances and oversee reconciliation of Balance sheet control accounts Reconcile all Bank accounts Administer and Reconcile Invoice Finance Vat preparation and reconciliation Weekly cashflow forecast and approve monthly payment runs Overhaul of current systems and procedures  Reconcile Inter-company accounts  Train up on all aspects of Month end processes with a view to improvements  Prepare Annual Budget Workings  Prepare for Group audit and liaise with Group Auditors  Support Group Finance Director to meet increasing business demands Manage 2 members of staff who have responsibility of Purchase Ledger Supervisor and Credit Control Junior 

Person Specification:

Part Qualified CIMA Accountant with experience in financial management Ability to lead 2 members of staff with transactional responbility and be proactive with improvement solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to deal with auditors and work at Group level with our companies Proficiency in using accounting software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations Experience in industry preferred
