Creative Leadership
Lead concept and schematic design across a range of building typologies, setting clear design direction.
Develop compelling design narratives, place-making strategies, and architectural identities.
Lead design workshops, internal critiques, and client presentations.
Contribute to competitions and bids, shaping design strategies and visual language.
Project Oversight
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistency of design intent across teams.
Collaborate closely with technical and delivery leads to manage risk and protect design outcomes.
Guide consultant coordination to ensure integrated, high-quality design solutions.
Support client relationships and act as a trusted design advisor.
Team Mentorship
Mentor project leaders, architects, and designers, supporting professional development.
Foster a design-led culture through critique, guidance, and clear expectations.
Assist in resource planning and team structuring alongside studio leadership.
Quality & Delivery
Champion design quality through all project stages, including fast-track Middle East delivery models.
Review key deliverables to ensure design excellence and technical coordination.
Balance creative ambition with programme, budget, and procurement realities.
Qualifications
Essential experience
Proven experience as an Associate Design Director or Senior Design Lead.
Extensive Middle East experience essential. UK/London experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership across multiple building types (minimum three sectors). Strong client-facing skills and international consultancy experience.
