The Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in delivering the sales strategy across B2 B channels. The role combines strategic business development with hands‑on account management and relationship building.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of commercial sales strategy across trade and retail channels
Drive revenue growth, gross margin, and product mix across assigned partner accounts
Develop, manage, and grow key trade and retail relationships
Identify, evaluate, and convert new business opportunities within trade, retail, and B2 B markets
Support the growth of a direct B2 B commercial sales channel
Work closely with retail partners to maximise sales performance
Provide commercial insight to support leadership decision‑making
Collaborate with Marketing to optimise promotional investment and campaign activity
Support national and regional promotions, partner events and exhibitions
Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure aligned delivery against objectives
Share market insight and customer feedback to support product and business development
Support sales and product training initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business development or senior sales role
Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
Strong commercial and analytical capability
Confident influencer with partners and internal stakeholders
Proactive, self‑driven, and solutions‑focused
Excellent communication and presentation skills
